Trufit Pilates

Pilates is one of the best ways to increase core strength, stability, flexibility and create long and lean muscles.

The private Pilates sessions will take place on a unique pilates reformer, a traditional piece of Pilates equipment which looks like a bed with springs, a sliding carriage, ropes and pulleys. There are three “spring tension” levels so the carriage is always under resistance therefore providing support for the joints on the body!

There are many different moves and exercises one can do on the reformer including planks, abdominal strap work, lunges, and glute work. We focus on lengthening as we strengthen, so we effectively “stretch” as we strengthen. In these private sessions you will receive personalized coaching so that your form is always top priority as well as a strong focus on increasing core strength. The best part about the pilates reformer is that is customizable to work for every body and every level of strength. 

Does it work well with Trufit20 High Intensity Workouts you might ask?!

YES! The pilates reformer is all about control so, guess what? It is also slow and we push the body to the point of fatigue. “I have been doing Pilates plus Trufit20 and the combination of both has boosted my strength as well as my muscle definition and core strength tremendously.” Says long time client Lyon Steadman.

The other very similar factor is that you  are always under resistance therefore it is low impact, safe, and fit for anyone.
